# Attribution, independence, and source boundaries

## Inspired by

**Robert Dumont (@Voltardark)**, public YouTube comment communicated to the J90 project initiator (October 2026). The comment describes an oscillator and its 90° geometrical inverse, and asks whether an interruption can be known without communicating that interruption. The comment also refers to Mandelbrot dynamics and requests an AI-native formalization.

Robert's public October 2026 announcement names a work:

**The Law of Dimensional Transposition — The 90° Joints as a Universal Operator J(θ): A conjectural unification of transformations between mathematical spaces. Version 4.0 — Direction of Flow, Distributed Mass Gap, and the Two Classes.**

The full paper and its revision history have **not** been verified for this repository, and no DOI is claimed. This project references the publicly described conjecture, rather than presenting a peer-reviewed or experimentally validated theory.

## Independent work

J90 is independently designed and implemented for QSOL-IMC, credited to Trent Slade. It is not a software implementation licensed from Robert's paper, a joint authorship claim, or evidence of Robert's review, endorsement, or affiliation. Feedback, corrections, a stable source link, or a complete source document can be incorporated with provenance in later PRs.

The operator J, quarter-turn algebra, trigonometric identities, and closed-form damped oscillator are standard mathematical constructions. The inspiration is the *question* to test and the proposed broader conjecture, not ownership of pre-existing mathematics.

## Claims discipline

- **Known:** Linear rotations, quadrature, damping, deterministic checkpoint replay.
- **Tested here:** A no-clock paused state cannot encode a gap that was never applied to its evolution; an independently continued or externally observed model can differ.
- **Not established here:** Life, consciousness, universal dimensional transposition, a new law of physics, or any particular Mandelbrot/Julia correspondence.

The first PR intentionally does not assert that Robert's broader model is valid or invalid. It creates an explicit, falsifiable baseline with which to compare specific future claims.
